Reduced radiation
After years of being warned about the armful effects of radiation from xrays, many people are skeptical about dental digital radiography. Not to fear: digital xray technology is much safer than the traditional method. In fact, digital radiography can offer up to 80 percent less radiation than its film counterpart.

Fast results
Digital dental radiography offers much faster results than standard xrays. While it only takes film about 15 seconds to develop, digital xray technology can produce images almost immediately - within three seconds. Additionally, there is no need to purchase film or processing chemicals.

Patient Education
We have television monitors in all of our rooms to be able to provide you with education you need about your teeth. We may display your xrays to show and describe to you what we are seeing.

We take routine bitewing xrays every 12 months and may take a panoramic xrays every 3-5 years.
